Where Your Money Goes
AIDS Project Los Angeles uses your money wisely to transform lives. Your gift supports direct services for nearly 10,000 people each year and prevention programs for countless more.
We focus on social services for low-income people with HIV/AIDS, including:
Our innovative prevention programs target those at greatest risk for HIV infection, including young people, gay men of all ethnicities, and men and women of color.
Our advocacy work develops and defends HIV-related government programs that save lives, here and abroad.
Three-quarters of the money we raise goes directly into HIV/AIDS services and prevention programs, and just eight percent of our budget is spent on administration.
With your help, we can do more.
APLA raises money in many

Leadership Council
The APLA
Leadership Council is a group of leaders
in our community who make a significant financial contribution on an annual
basis to AIDS Project
Los Angeles. Leadership Council Members express their deep commitment to
helping people affected by HIV disease through generous annual gifts of
$1,000
or more.

Giving
Matching Gift and Employee
Giving programs are a great way to involve your employer with the work

There are other ways to help APLA that do not require a monetary donation. Volunteering your time, being a friend to someone with HIV/AIDS or providing us with much needed goods or services are just a few examples of how you can get involved.
Recycle Your Old Electronics

Shop at Ralphs®
Supporting APLA can be as easy as swiping your Ralphs Club Card! Simply sign up for The Ralphs Community Contribution Program and designate APLA as your charity of choice. Then, each time you shop, a portion of your total bill will benefit APLA programs and services.
Donate Your Old Vehicle
Is an old car, truck or boat taking up space in your garage? Consider donating your vehicle (whether it still runs or not) to support APLA. World Community Grid
Put your computer to work in the fight against AIDS! The World Community Grid is a network of personal computers that contribute their unused processing power toward vital research projects, including FightAIDS@Home, which seeks new drug therapies for people living with HIV/AIDS.
