National AIDS Marathon Training Program Participants Complete Disney Half Marathon
After six months of training and fundraising, participants in the National AIDS Marathon Training Program will cross the finish line on September 5 at the Disney half marathon in Anaheim, California. It’s not too late to sponsor a runner or to learn more about our unique training program. Stay tuned for more details about our training program for the 2011 L.A. Marathon!

Macy's Passport Presents Glamorama Los Angeles
Benefiting APLA and Project Angel Food

Haute fashion, hotter music, hottest celebrities... Macy's Passport Presents Glamorama is sure to be the charity benefit event of the fall fashion season in Minneapolis, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

In Los Angeles, Macy’s Passport Glamorama, benefiting APLA and Project Angel Food, presents Grammy Award winner Macy Gray, starring Eric Hutchinson at The Orpheum Theater!

This spectacular fundraiser is a celebration filled with chart-topping musical acts, celebrity appearances and fashion designers brought together for one exciting evening. And it's all followed by the most glam party in town!

But the most important aspect of Passport Presents Glamorama is the money raised for charity. For the past 28 years, over $34 million has been raised in the Minneapolis, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles markets.

Do you have Hepatitis C? Give us a day…and we’ll help you get your life back. The C-Retreat is a one-day workshop held quarterly in the Los Angeles County area where you get support and learn about medical aspects of Hep C, including treatment. This workshop will help you understand how Hep C is transmitted, how others are living with the virus, how to take care of yourself, and what to expect in living with Hep C.

26th ANNUAL AIDS WALK LOS ANGELES
Join more than 30,000 walkers to fight AIDS in the city where the Walk began. This year’s 26th Annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles will raise funds for APLA and a wide range of other, Los Angeles-based AIDS services organizations in our community. Since its inception, AIDS Walk Los Angeles has raised over $69 million to offer life-saving medical care, food, shelter and more for Angelenos who live with HIV/AIDS and face poverty, hunger, addiction, discrimination and more.
